A ready-to-wear collection focused on simplicity, wearability and reduction
The Spring Summer 2017 collection marks a clear shift towards ready-to-wear. After seasons of narrative, presentation and layered concepts, this collection focuses on something more direct: clothing as it is worn. Reduced, refined and stripped back to its essence.
This collection was not presented on a runway, but shown in a showroom setting exclusively to buyers.
The garments were experienced up close — not as part of a story or performance, but as pieces intended to be worn, selected and integrated into everyday life.
It marked a transition towards a more commercial direction, where design meets function more directly.

The collection is defined by soft silhouettes and controlled simplicity. Garments fall naturally around the body, often slightly oversized but never without intention. Draping plays an important role, allowing the fabric to shape itself rather than forcing structure.
Materials are lightweight and comfortable — jersey, soft knits and supple leather. The contrast between fluid fabrics and structured leather creates a subtle tension within otherwise minimal designs.
The colour palette remains restrained: greys, blacks and muted neutrals dominate, reinforcing the calm and focused direction of the collection.

Key pieces include softly draped dresses, relaxed tops and minimal outerwear.
Dresses follow the natural lines of the body, often with asymmetrical draping or subtle gathering. They feel effortless, yet carefully balanced.
Tops and tunics are loose and fluid, designed to move with the wearer. They introduce a sense of ease without losing clarity in silhouette.
Leather trousers remain a defining element — sharp, fitted and grounding the softer pieces in the collection.
Together, the pieces create a wardrobe that feels cohesive, wearable and quietly strong.

Essential Form represents a moment of reduction. After building worlds, narratives and concepts, the focus shifts to what remains when everything unnecessary is removed.
